• private practice management and systems pertaining to billing, administration, clinical services, coding, and reimbursement
• clinical research, single-subject research designs, mixed methods research, qualitative research
• language sample analysis
• enhancing speech-language evaluation procedures and report-writing
• caseload management for school-based SLPs
• effective language and literacy interventions involving reading, writing, and critical thinking
• overall treatment efficacy, data management, progress monitoring, clinical efficiency

Private Practice, Billing & Coding

Many SLPs in private practice avoid billing insurance companies and are missing opportunities to make consistent revenue. Even when SLPs do bill insurance, they often miss opportunities to earn more income by using a billing and coding strategy. I teach SLPs how to bill and code effectively and how to write documentation that gets you paid.
